I have a spent a great deal of my life wandering, rambling, roaming…it is one of my favorite past-times. I suppose it is no surprise then that eventually I would put that wandering to good use once I discovered my love for taking pictures. Those two worlds would collide in 2012 while on a hike through a beautiful arboretum in Overland Park, Kansas. It was on that day that I felt the unmistakeable connection between myself and my surrounds. It brought back a feeling of childhood and pure unadulterated joy. I discovered that beauty could and should be found in our everyday and in the unexpected. I now make that my goal whenever I find the time and space to wander through our midwest backroads and parks; and through my prints and various art forms, I hope to share that found beauty with others.
